A large cinematic mixing console with rows of glowing LED meters, sleek faders, and polished metal knobs, stretching into the distance of a dark, acoustically treated studio. Multiple computer screens display colorful orchestral waveforms and a film scene frozen on a dramatic frame. Soft, focused pool lighting from overhead spotlights casts gentle reflections off the brushed aluminum surfaces, leaving the rest of the room in subtle shadow. Shot at eye level with a shallow depth of field, the front faders in sharp focus and the monitors gently blurred. The mood is professional, focused, and cinematic, captured in high-resolution photographic realism with a clean, modern aesthetic that conveys expert film music production.
About

Tom Belbin

I’m a composer specialising in original music for film, focused on supporting story, emotion, and atmosphere.

With a background in jazz and over 10 years of experience, I approach each project by understanding what the film is trying to say and how the music can enhance that. I focus on writing music that feels like a natural part of the story rather than something added on top.

Where possible, I enjoy incorporating live musicians into my work to bring an extra level of detail and realism to the score.

I have a Master’s degree in Film, TV & Games Composition from The University Of Chichester (UK) and have worked across a range of styles, from restrained, atmospheric cues to more expressive and cinematic pieces.

I work closely with filmmakers throughout the process to make sure the music fits the tone of the film and supports the emotional journey of each scene.

Would love to discuss any projects you might need music for. Just send me a message here Contact.
